By that I mean, all the things a bride will pick out to make her wedding special and have her touch to it… from the shoes, to the dress, to the venue and decor, to the flowers and rings.  I think it is so important to capture it all because so much time goes into this part of the planning and makes each wedding unique. I find that I now see the world this way too. When I am on vacation,  I even shoot the “details” of a place. I might have random pictures of door knobs, textures, arches, flowers, statues, etc. You get the idea.

So as you walk through life don’t forget to check out the little things that you might miss.  You don’t have to be a photographer to see the details of what is around you… just pay attention.  Here are some images that I came across recently while cleaning off my computer.

]]> http://beckyspencerblog.com/its-all-in-the-details/feed/ 0 Laura and Steve http://beckyspencerblog.com/laura-and-steve/ http://beckyspencerblog.com/laura-and-steve/#comments Tue, 12 Jul 2011 11:00:19 +0000 admin http://beckyspencerblog.com/?p=1371 Continue reading →]]> Laura and Steve got engaged at The Reefs last year so it was the perfect place for their summer wedding.  They brought a group of about 80 friends and family to help them celebrate in a four-day extravaganza that included a sunset cruise, golf, beach party and of course their beautiful wedding at Caso’s Point overlooking the ocean.  The rain threatened all day on the day of the wedding but luckily stayed away until everyone was tucked away in the reception.  Since I didn’t get to meet Laura and Steve before the wedding, it was fun to hear all the wonderful things their friends and family had to say about them in the speeches and throughout the day.  I have no doubt that they are on their way to a very loving, fun filled and beautiful marriage.  All the best to you both!
